T-Mobile LG G4 Updated!

I updated last night by downloading the LG Flash Tool 2014 and going to the XDA site and finding a link for the file.

A bit of caution: there are a lot of downloads there, and all but one are not the original, but someone who has rooted or claims to have debloated the image. There's one that takes you to the LG site where you can grab the official file. Was easier than I expected, did not lose any data or configuration, and my 811 is running better (and seems to be cooler, too)

I don't think I should have to go through all this trouble since the update has been out for days but I'm considering now.

i agree, if only hopefully to fix the lag/unresponsive screen. the ota should be available by now, or at least lg bridge...

I tried forwarding the date to Oct and it still says that I'm up to date. This is crazy.

Got my update too, right before work. Haven't had a chance to really play around with it yet. I'm hoping to find that the screen is more responsive when typing. That would fix a big gripe that I have with the phone!

It's a t-mobile update so bridge won't push it. I got mine this morning and it's also fixed the unresponsive touch issue!!! The issue on my phone was very mild, but now it's completely gone! I am so glad I switched from Sprint to t-mobile the experience has made me love my phone again. No missed calls, great 4g coverage so far, and fast updates! It's like they actually care.

I got my OTA this morning. However, my wife's G4 was updated yesterday through Bridge. So it's worth checking.

It's really hard to speak on because I've had my G4 running well for some time. But I think there may be a little less "jank" in the performance. Again, hard to say. And my wife isn't a phone nerd. Kinda hard to get anything out of her in that regard.

Even its a T-Mobile update it goes through LG and Bridge worked for me perfectly fine!

Bridge def pushed it for me. Am very pleased with the improved touch response.

So I updated this morning then worked all day. After spending the afternoon with it, I think it is a bit more responsive. Also, I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed when unlocking the phone with the swipe gesture, it's almost a little too fast now. Certainly not complaining.

FINALLY FINALLY it updated to the latest....well, it is iin the process....a few more minutes.

Went to bed....woke up....got a notification that it was ready to install.
