Been waiting for a long time for this release and T-Mobile apparently forgot about us G3 users. Do you guys think we will get marshmallow?

I have the same question and it's taking very long. When are we getting 6.0 update??

This is why my next phone will be a nexus.

I have had it with Tmo's **** poor phone service.

Seems every phone I have gotten through them has stopped being supported within 6 months.

They won't even support their "flag ship" phones for longer than that.

How does the Comercial go..... "Time to kick that uncarriers phone to the curb, get a phone that continues to get updates and support without any of the dumb *** answers from unknowledgable service staff. . Move to nexus"

just checked on the TMO update status -
:)

Software Version: Android 6.0 "Marshmallow"
During this stage, the device will go through T-Mobile certification process testing to make sure you get the best quality software possible.

Download file size, using LG mobile support tool(usb cable to pc) was 1144.68mb
Left usb cable connected until upgrade was totally finished, including App optimizations.
Update of Google play services, had to manually click update, can take some time.
Other apps are updating themselves automatically.

Everything went smoothly, knock code stayed set at the same 3 knocks. Files(mp3's, pictures) all undisturbed, phone contacts, blu tooth items, all intact.

:)

Over a couple of days, I found that the G3 would be waking up, without any known activity by myself. One incident, I had been playing recorded mp3's, put the player in pause, put the phone in standby, and drove to a gas station to fill up. Shortly before arrival, the phone had woken up, and resumed playing the last mp3 file. (weird).

I had gone from KitKat to Lollipop to Marshmallow, never needing to do a Factory reset. I decided to do that.
Used the LG backup to record to my memory card, and knew also, that Google backup would have other things covered.

Did factory reset, let google do its restore, then did a LG restore. Will monitor over a couple days to determine how the G3 did,
