T-Mobile N6 order status?

I jus went to the store and picked up a 32GB ordering always seems like a hassle

My thought is that it is the holiday season and they are dealing with supply constraints. Knowing that they will sell far more 32 GB models than 64 GB models they opt to make sure the flow of 32GB devices is better. Would you in their position opt to only make the more expensive model more readily available if you were trying to just get the thing into as many hands as possible? It sucks you and many others are having to wait so long and by February the supply issues should be subsided. I fought like crazy to get the Galaxy Nexus back in the day and again with the N4 (16 GB all the way). I'll just be happy to have LTE and a bit more space for books and comics. :)

I get what you're saying but a 3-5 day turnaround compared to 6-8 weeks is way off imo. Even 3-4 weeks I'd understand...

What??? 6-8 weeks? Do you mean to tell me that I won't have my 64gb Nexus 6 until AFTER Christmas???? *cry*

It depends on when you ordered it. Most likely if it was after the initial launch, or even the first batch, it could potentially be 6-8 weeks :(.

I ordered on 11/24/14. I don't understand the supply issue with the 64gb.

Still the same situation with me. Ordered as an upgrade to my nexus 4 to a nexus 6 64GB on 11/19/14 around 4am then the status changed to 11/25/14 2am with no other information and no charge on my bank statement. I wonder how much longer I will actually have to wait. I am really considering the Note edge at this point. I know I am not waiting 6 - 8 more weeks though.

Anyone with an order from 11/19 around 4am that now has a backordered status as of 11/15 2am get any info or a shipping confirmation yet?

I placed on 11/24. Online status shows "Being Processed". When I call, the representative says- your order still has the backorder status. They've no clue to provide any estimated shipping date :(

So funny thing, I also ordered around the same time but have yet to receive anything. I got my most recent bill and it had the EIP charge for the Nexus 6. As I called into customer service, I was set to BLOW UP. Haha. The lady on the line wasn't understanding why there was an issue until after the 3rd time I repeated "The phone is still backordered. I'm not paying for a phone that I do not have." It's now 12/6 and there is still no phone :(. But at least I got the billing issue taken care of.

I went into Sprint and picked up one two weeks ago. Yesterday, I went into T Mobile and switched sim cards and ported my number over. I got $350 from Sprint for the LG g3, so I just bought the phone outright . Seemed easier than waiting for who knows how long for T mobile. Love the phone.

After seeing the Nexus 6 in person last night I noticed it wasn't as big as some people are saying. I could type with one hand but reaching for the top notification bar is a stretch. Anyway, with the lack of availability, me questioning if it would fit in my pockets and the chance of getting a Moto X for only $360...it was a no brainer and I decided to go for the 5.2'' form factor. I'm really going to miss wireless charging on the Nexus but it wasn't worth the almost $300 price difference. Actually a $250 price difference for me as I opted for the 32GB version. I also used motomaker to make it with a black front with white back...just like the Nexus.

I pretty much did the same thing and am much happier with the Moto X. After waiting with no answers on my 64gb order from TMo, I picked up a 32gb in the store. I knew in my heart on the first day of use that I wasn't going to be happy with the size of the N6 but I gave it a good try. I had the Note 3 and have fairly large hands, but still found the N6 a bit cumbersome to use one-handed, which I do quite often. I jumped all over the cyber Monday deal on the X. I ordered exactly what I wanted and it was built and shipped to my door in 3 days. I do miss the wireless charging, however, the motion sensor to see the notification on the X makes it much more than worth it. Overall, very happy and saved a fair amount of coin too. It certainly fits better in the pocket as well. That is to take nothing away from the N6. It is a nice phone.

I went to one T-Mobile store which had the blue 32gb in stock. They said they will only have the blue 32gb in stock at the stores. Then he tried to sell me the blue 32gb for 750.00 plus tax full retail. I thought that was kinda strange since lsit price full retail was 649.00 so I went to another T-Mobile who also had the blue 32gb in stock. This guy also said the stores will only have the blue 32gb in stock. This guy sold it to me for the listed price 649.00 plus tax full retail. Needless to say I bought from the second store, popped my Verizon sim in and I was in business.

Any idea why the first guy tried to rip me off for 100.00?

We're taught to bundle things in to the price. So he was most likely bundling in a screen protector and case and god knows what else. When he rang the phone out the price would have been the same lol

Do you work in a corporate store or for an authorized retailer? I've never had items bundled together like that in a corporate store.

We are T-Mobile branded. I work at an actual T-Mobile store. Now the T-Mobiles where I live are owned by wireless vision though. I feel like he was bunlding 50 dollars in for a case and screen protector. The phone is 650+50 in tax and the other for the accessories.

He was not bundling anything. He looked at the price 649.99 full retail, took out his calculator and came up with 750.00 + tax for the phone by itself. He did offer to sell it to me for 650.00 + tax if I agreed to purchase it with a 50.00 pre-paid card.

The other store looked at the 649.99 price, looked on his computer and said ok 649.99 + tax.

Seems really shady that the one store tried to over charge me for 100.00.

Are you a T-mobile Customer? If you aren't we aren't really allowed to sell them just outright to people. It does nothing for us as Reps. With the 50 dollar prepaid he would have gotten paid something. I'm not saying that's the right way to practice, just probably what happened.

So, for anyone who has ordered the 64gb model from T-Mobile, have you received any shipping updates?

I ordered on 11/24 and have received nothing. The cust svc rep I chatted with said there is no ETA for delivery.

(I also ordered a Galaxy Gear S for my husband on the same day and JUST received it yesterday.)

I ordered my 32gb on 11/27/14received it yesterday. Like I said those turnaround times look to be accurate. Sadly :/
