T-Mobile Note II and AT&T GoPhone Sim.

Does anyone know if you can use an unlocked T-Mobile Note 2 with an AT&T gophone sim. AT&T told me that their data plan won't work on T-Mobile phones but would let me try it out for the monthly fee and nonrefundable $60. Before I did that I wanted to be sure that the phone can get at&t data.
