T-Mobile Note5 no HSPA when data roaming

My Note5 currently will not connect to 3g(HSPA or HSPA+) while data roaming, and I'm only able to connect to EDGE. I've used the same SIM card in my Xperia Z3, and it was able to pick up 3g without any issues while days roaming.

I've checked and recreated the APN and I've also tried to force the phone into connecting by using 3g Only or 3G/2G auto. I've yet to have any success.

Is anyone else having the same issue or does anyone have any suggestions to troubleshoot this?

I have the same exact problem. Been driving me nuts. Now tmobile has been phasing out HSPA for AWS LTE but ...it's still all over. And I found something interesting...I flashed a rom for 920C being told it worked for 920t but was skeptical. Surprisingly in my home where I barely get one bar of edge, I suddenly had full HSPA+ , and I'd never even seen that signal , now the phone calls would not work but data was great, but baseband and etc were of 920C and CSC in particular was a Italian one. Also , the APN was a tmobile one but different from all others I've seen. I'm looking into this. Message me hangouts n0vegg@gmail.com
