I just received my 3T yesterday and popped my Tmo SIM into the device. I noticed everything works fine except I don't get LTE. My signal says 4G only. I made sure to use the LTE APN, but there is no LTE setting under the "preferred network" tab. Anyone else on Tmo have this issue?

I'm on an OP3 running beta 7 and I'm having the same issue. Send oneplus a message and let them know. They have to flash it in the next update. My speeds are good, I just don't have the LTE icon. Did you do a speed test to compare?

I've seen this take a day, probably less actually, for everything to complete provisioning (I'm assuming) on the carrier side before LTE is available. A reboot of the phone after it's been on a new network for an hour or so often helps. Not sure if that was helpful but wanted to point out that from what I've seen LTE doesn't always popup immediately.

On the beta for OP3 and on the 3T, 4G = LTE. Download LTE Discover from the app store and see if you are getting LTE.

Alright, I am going to download that app after my phone restores from a factory reset (as per OnePlus support) and then post a screenshot. Then you guys can tell me if I am getting LTE or not because I have no idea what I am looking at LOL!

So does this mean I have LTE? I'm assuming so as VoLTE is working on my device.

Not to run too far off topic but I'm considering this phone and am wondering what if the signal/reception is strong for Tmo on this phone. The missing LTE icon aside I've heard of older OP phones with weak antennas.

Since I've found out that 4G on this phone means LTE, I have had no issues at all. I'm in the Philly, PA area.

I've seen LTE and 4G+ show up on my OP3, from what I've read 4G+ is the more advanced "true" 4G service.
