T-Mobile Order Thread...

Surprise, surprise, surprise...

T-IMmobile changed their ship date again.
Like a prison BuFu.
 
Just checked on my estimated date - still the same as before... 03/21/2022 - 04/04/2022

Here's hoping!
 
I notice today that T-Mo is removing past dates - it now only has today and tomorrow as estimated dates.
So, there's some updating going on, the date has yet to push-out further than the 4th. I just don't have any confidence in these dates.
Who knows?
Maybe it'll happen in the next 24 hours!
I'll report back.
 
Well, something *did* happen in the past 24 hours - T-Mo pushed my delivery date out a month and a half.
It's not like I am in a rush to get it, I do understand supply-chain issues, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad dissapointed.

Interestingly, I just checked the Samsung site and saw that I can get an Ultra through my employee discount (and with trade-in) for just $50 more than a Plus. With delivery in the next week.

Hmmmm....
 
After some thought about switching to an Ultra (too big, curved screen, not sure I need an S-Pen, square corners) I decided to just stick with the S22+ on back-order.

Now, my estimated date moved from mid-May to today or tomorrow. I think these dates are just pulled out of some dark place in T-Mo's back-end (pun intended) systems that just don't align with reality.

Planning on simply sitting where I am, and trying not to check those freak'in ship dates on a daily basis!
 
Posting in the even it helps someone else - sorry for the serial posts!!

My curiosity got the better of me this afternoon and I called 611 for T-Mo support.

Had a wonderful conversation with a T-Mo Rep and she checked my shipment. She saw that as of that point in time, my account said that the shipment was expected 3/21-4/4, we were a day beyond that, and she said that she wants to get the shipment out asap. She asked if it was ok to put me on hold, and that it might take 3-5 minutes to get back. When she got back, she said the label was just created and she's got a tracking number. Amazing.

Not sure how things work in their shipping process, but I was ready to hear a mid-May shipment date, and it seemed like there was some expediting going on.

Regardless, the tracking number is real :) and my S22+ will be here in 2 days.

For anyone waiting, consider calling 611 and see if that helps!
 
Well, the S22+ got here on schedule per my last post.
It's an awesome phone!
I hope this thread might help some other T-Mo customers.

There's so much criticism about the S22 line-up.
I am just 2 days into ownership and I think the S22+ is a killer device. Still in the honeymoon phase, but this phone totally exceeds my expectations so far, from performance to the display to the battery life.

Couldn't agree more. This is my first Samsung device and so far so great!
