So since this is a new version, I'm assuming that even the people who already got CRC2 like me, will also get this update?

This makes sense. Whatever bugs they pulled the update for should be fixed so those who already have Oreo will have to install the new version to fix those bugs.

The update is here. Android 8.0.0 (which I'd already gotten before they pulled it), April 1 security level. (As for McAfee, I'd already uninstalled it, and it remained uninstalled after the update.)

My update was exactly the 344MB update as the above persons. It was the April 1 update. My phone was already on Oreo previous to this update.

I had a AT&T sim in my unlocked T-Mobile Note 8 and it kept saying my software was up to date. I had to put a T-Mobile sim in the phone and let it restart to start into the T-Mobile version of the OS before it would tell me there was an update.

It's the CRD7 firmware, which is the May 13 update, which includes the April 1 security patch level. CRC2, the April 1 update (which was withdrawn April 3), included the March 1 security patch level.

Curiously, the full firmware version that my phone displays now is N950USQU4CRD7, whereas T-Mobile's Software Updates page lists it as N950USQU3CRD7. I wonder if those of us who had received CRC2 (Oreo) are now given the branch 4 update, but those who were still on BRA9 (Marshmallow) now perhaps get the branch 3 update (as listed on the webpage). Could someone who didn't get Oreo last month confirm their full firmware version after the May 13 update?

My Sprint phone just updated, hopefully the constant crashing is fixed, FireFox was crashing 15 times a day.

I received the update May 20 so far so good. i'm on Tmobile btw.
