Yes they do require a credit check if you want to finance the nexus 6. As mentioned, you may be asked to give a hefty down payment if you have bad or no credit.

One postpaid Even More Plus line and three prepaid Walmart lines (soon to be two).

How much are the prepaid line? Is it tmobile brand or something else like MetroPCS? Thinking of trying it out to see and I know someone who is interested. Thank you so much.

Each prepaid line is $30 for 100 voice minutes/unlimited text messaging/5GB high-speed data.

Actually, the $30 deal is not exclusive to Walmart. It's always been available on the T-Mobile website, ya just gotta dig for it. I think Walmart may have discontinued it, not sure. I don't have a link to the $30 plan handy, sorry.

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.

I am testing with the 40 pay as you go plan and the network is great. I even got better than verizon one time.

$40 simply prepaid plan, you get throttled speeds, no music freedom, and you lose free international text/data. If you don't care about those then its worth it.
