well, essentially that wasn't a very informative text message from TMobile after all!

all it says is that, at the latest, by April 19th, they'll start shipping the phones so that by April 21st, we'll have them.

it doesn't imply or suggest whatsoever how much earlier they might ship the phones out.

bummer.

I pre-ordered immediately when T-mobile went live. It was actually a few minutes before their own count-down reached zero. I have yet to receive any text concerning packing my item, my account still reads "pre-order" shipping approx 4/20-4/21 and my credit card has not been charged. I know all will happen eventually, I'm just anxious and excited like the next person.

i think the next "event", so to speak, is seeing if someone's credit card has been charged and if someone actually receives a UPS tracking number.

besides those two items, these TMobile texts that most of us just received minutes ago are pretty useless, imho, as the information is really not saying much of anything!

it's really not a surprise whatsoever that they are telling us that we should receive our phones "by April 21st", so they are going to ship our phones out "by April 19th".

After the Note 7, I don't know what to expect. But I think you maybe right. If it comes early then it comes early.

There was no promise or hint of shipping early so there's really nothing to be upset about. At this point whether we like it or not, things are going along as planned.

I have no doubts I will be getting mine on the 21st. And that is okay. But that does not mean I won't be checking here, Reddit, XDA, my bank account, and myTmobile 10 times an hour until I get it. Other than that I am content to just wait for it to get here....
