I received my text message at 6:07 pm eastern..Thank goodness I'm in the 1st batch for a orchid grey S8+...Can people at least list color and phone type if you received the text message

Sure. Text received at 6:14PM, preordered black S8 on March 30th.

Black s8+ and my wife also got a text for a silver s8 and she ordered the next day early in the morning. I ordered within the first 15 minutes
 
i'm not certain that the timing of this text message (from this evening) is truly indicative of the timing of when we'll receive our S8/S8+.

this text message, to me at least, was a non-event as it didn't give us any new information.

honestly, did anyone really believe that we'll receive our phones AFTER April 21st? Answer: No!

did anyone really believe that, in order to receive our phones prior to April 21st, that TMobile may ship it out much later than April 19th? Answer: No!

I am not him, but I got the S3 Frontier and I love it, just got a sweet metal band

I had the frontier for 4 days and took it back. I managed 2 days out of it with the AOD off, I was not impressed. I get 14 days on my Fenix 3.

On the subject, I got my text as well and it doesn't really mean much until it says shipping on it. Last year I pre-ordered my Note 7 4 days before released and got it one day before it was released. So I'm thinking it doesn't matter when you pre-order your S8, if it's the same as the Note 7, everyone will get it on the 20th.

Maybe Samsung is worried about the G6 doing so well in South Korea and might release it a week early? We can only hope lol.

It's from Watchmaker Pro, called Weather Round and modified by me to my liking (eliminated a large white background, added UTC time, etc.). Watchmaker is great if you like a watch face, but want to change it a little bit. Very easy to figure out.

Samsung is only worried about Apple not LG. They know G6 doesn't stand a chance against Samsung brand and it's marketing.
 
Rec'd the text a few hours ago. Black S8+. Ordered on the 30th at about 1230pm Eastern

Not sure if it's a glitch or if they are really sold out, but if you try to place an order on Samsung.com for a S8 and add the Immersive Bundle (SD card, headphones), when you go to check out, it says the Immersive Bundle is sold out.

Not sure if that's just for orders on their site or if all 50,000 were claimed.
 
Looks the same as the Note 7 launch. You will get it that Thur or on launch day depending on flight times, delays and such. Way samsung sounded for us that ordered from samsung.com maybe we will get it on the 19th possibly but not much earlier.
 
has anyone been charged yet?? based on the text?

I don't think so. I recall last year they sent out a similar text about 8 days before we got the phones and everyone was going batsh** crazy and excited over it. Also not everyone gets the text the same time. Some will get it hours later.
 
Tmo blew this one...every carrier has rock solid coverage where I live...so I can afford to go with best pricing. And since Tmo is the only carrier requiring the down payment, I'm taking my line elsewhere.

I also emailed corporate john.leger@tmobile.com to make sure my order doesn't get bumped my old CC card was stolen and had to update it in the system the foreign rep i spoke too canceled the order by mistake and refused to let me speak to his supervisor! wasn't happy! thankfully another rep (IN THE US) replaced the order so I will check with them to make sure it wasn't put in the back of the line because of a reps mistake
