T-Mobile price drop

I always buy my phones outright through T-Mobile so it shows zero down for the Note 9 for me.

I got a Note 9 through T-Mobile last Monday and it still shows zero down for the Note 9.

The app shows $0 down for me too, it also shows $99 for the iPhone Xs Max but when I tried to get the iPhone I was told a completely different down payment. They're just making it confusing for some reason. Down payment should be the same regardless of what jump program you use.

Starting a chat now. Already paying $39 per month for our Note8's. Glad I waited a month now to save some $$$.

I was told 0 down was only for "regular upgrade". Whatever that is anymore. Non-JUMP?
Anyways, I was told $78 down and $34 per month. Still $5 per month cheaper than our current Note8's.

I saw that as well. But, when I went to add it to my cart, they told me I had to call. WTF? I thought they were supposed to update their system to handle JOD upgrades when they imposed that $20 upgrade charge?

The higher down payment stopped me from getting one. I had the Note 8 and they wanted double the amount down for the Note 9
$400 down is still a chunk, though. If I had the money to buy outright, that would be a good deal. $870 is a better deal for me for the 128gb.

I went through a chat and was told my down payments were $150 for the Note 9 and $279 for iPhone Max 64gb. At that point I was logged out for whatever reason, guessing it timed-out, didn't feel like wasting time logging back in.

When I left a less than favorable review on Monday I was called by the business office or whatever they are called and was told the upgrade was still being worked on to include JOD pricing and ordering. I'm still not happy with how this is working for JOD, it's like we're the red headed step child.

from what I learned my sister has tmobile also with 4 lines , 2phones on jump her account credit is 2,000.00 so if you use most of that say like 1500.00 that will determine your down payment regardless if your on jump or EIP and also the phone price you choose

I got the two phones ordered. Approximately $172 out of pocket today, including taxes and shipping. Just got a text as well saying expected to ship between 9/22 and 9/24.

So tmobile when trading in a device they do bill credits? The last time I traded in a phone at tmobile back in 2015 for the Note 5 they took the amount off of the purchase right there in the store. No bill credit bs. They don't give instant credit towards your purchase anymore?

I think it depends on the promotion.

Mine was outright. I'm ordering from Amazon or bh next time so I'll probably just trade my n10 at best buy for the giftcard or sell it.

With these pre orders you're rolling the dice ordering from samsung.com so far I've been lucky. But the note 9 seems to be a debacle for them this time when it comes to shipping.
