T-Mobile sending G5 as replacement

I've been a pretty happy v10 user for almost a year-until the dreaded bootloop hit my device about a week and a half ago.
However, looks like my time with the V10 is done.

T-Mobile is sending me a G5 as replacement for my V10. I'm eligible for a JUMP! upgrade.
An immediate upgrade would likely be the S7/S7 Edge (only other decent T-Mobile Android phones)

So the question is: keep the G5, or do the upgrade (or hold on to G5 for month or two until V20)?

Sounds like you have some time to decide, and it doesn't seem like you are concerned about the $$$ aspect of it. Why can't they replace the V10 with another, or at least give you that option? If it were me I would go with either another V10 or the 20... for the DAC, headphone amp, and manual 4K video. OIS on the V20 is supposed to be superior too.

Same thing happened to one of my family plan members. Except he is going from G4 to G5. So he won out in the deal.

I'd wait for the V20. Looks like an awesome phone.
