Almeuit, Thanks for the idea, I already did though. I was just hoping from some real users what their honest thoughts were. Thanks Darrkman for the speed test. Ok, I received my phone and my wifes phone on Sept 19th. I ordered them online just because I could get the LG G2 right away, while for some reason the stores didn't get stock until Sept 25th. My wife got a Samsung Galaxsy S4. So this review is about my T Mobile service, almost a full week.
We ported our numbers from Verizon on the 19th. I called T Mobile and the process was very easy. I think it took about 2 hours for the porting process to be completed with both our phones. Like I've stated in the past, we live in Rocky Point. (Long Island). Verizon was horrible here. We would not be able to send text messages and calls were dropped rather frequently. Well let me tell you, not only do we get full bars and 4G coverage here, but we haven't dropped 1 call and text messages go through without any waiting.
I work in Queens, NYC and commute to the city usually take the William Floyd Parkway to the the L.I.E. but occasionally take 347 to the Northern Parkway and from there get to work. Anyway, I did not have one dropped call. Naturally I'm not on the phone the whole way. At work, in Queens I have full bars as well and 4G coverage too. I have no regrets about going to T Mobile. I have done plenty of speed test myself and I can't believe the speeds I get. I would post those but I don't know how to get a screen capture on my phone yet.
I haven't driven out to Riverhead yet, thats about the furthest East I go on Long Island, and I haven't left the NYC area either so I can't speak for how it is outside of Long Island but for now, I am very happy about using them. I must say though, that when I went to my daycare's home, which is also in Rocky Point I had no service at all. No bars, no 4G, nothing. (The phone is a new toy, along with the service so I'm constantly checking both.) Her home/business is on the very north shore and at the bottom of hills, (Rocky Point..... get it

) anyway she gets no service from Verizn,Sprint, or AT&T there either so it was expected.
I even went shopping in Stop & Shop in Miller Place and had to call my wife. 4 bars. It did go down to 2 when I was in the meat section, but still... I HAD SERVICE!!! That was a surprise because Verizon was 2 bars and when we had Sprint I had to stand in the big window in the front or step outside to make a call.
My wife works off of Motor Parkway, (I'm not sure what town that her office is in but she works off of exit 57 on the L.I.E.) She hasn't had one complaint yet. She too was surprised about the service in her office. When we were on Sprint she had no service in her office at all, and Verizon was always coming in and out. But with T Mobile she said she has 3 bars. I personally think the bad service in her office is due to the building, but HEY she gets service where on Verizon she didn't so she's very happy about the move.
I did the math, we didn't sign up for the Jump (I think that's what they call it). They charge you an extra 10 bucks a month for that program just to upgrade twice a year, and you have to give them back the phone. To me that made no sense, if I really want the newer phone I'll just pay off the LG and then start new payments on the next phone, but honestly I don't see that happening for a while. I LOVE this phone. And whenever I do decide to get a newer phone I'll sell this on Ebay or something, not turn it over to T Mobile. But my phones always look brand new. It goes right from the box to a case and gets a screen protector. But I know I'm not like everyone so their plan may work for you, just not me... anyway, got off topic..
If anyone else has any questions at all feel free to ask. I'll respond right away.
PS I had a slight issue with trading in my old phone for credit with T Mobile and I went to the Centereach store. The manager was amazing, very helpful and nice. The manager in the store in Selden, not so much.
