So I picked up the Z3 on v-day replacing my G2. I had my G2 for almost 18 months which was longer than I anticipated keeping it.
I just felt it was time for something new and I had wanted the Z3 for a long time. Even though I'm well aware the new flagships are right around the corner.
That said the Z3 is definitely a complete package of a phone. Sure imo it should have has the 805 chipset but really there's a lot more to a phone than just specs.
The battery life has been great (like the G2) the camera is capable of doing well, speakers sound good, double tap on, nice screen etc...
Anyway anyone looking for something a little different might find the Sony a great option. It really is solid across the board and can be picked up for less than some of the other top devices at t-mobile.
I will miss the remote control which I can't believe with Sonys history in home theater they aren't pushing this as a feature.
I had my phone setup to my liking quickly. I use Nova launcher but Sonys launcher isn't heavy at all. I basically wanted to add double tap off which could not be done with the stock launcher.
