Tab 2 10.1 internet won't close

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the internet on the Tab 2 (10.1). Up until the latest update I have been able to close tabs when using the internet and if it was the final tab then it would close the internet application. Since the update it will no longer let me close in this way, the only way I can see to do it now is to press the home button. It's not a big problem by any stretch, I just wondered if anyone else had noticed this and whether it is in fact working as intended.

I am having the exact same problem with my Galaxy Tab2 and I have not found a solution to the problem yet. PLEASE HELP if you know how to fix this.
