I recently bought a Tab 3 8.0 and after approx 15 minutes pretty much as soon played a video on youtube the screen begin to flicker from the bottom up. It seemed only to flicker on youtube but then I tried instagram and it went about 10x worse. At some points the whole screen would black out for a second at a time. After exiting instagram the home page was flickering as was every other app and browser. Googled the issue but found no other cases of this. Tried using developer settings etc, factory reset twice but to no avail.
I took it back to the shop to try to get a replacement. Of course because it had been off all night and this flickering problem only seems to kick in after 15 minutes or so it didn't flicker. They've sent it off for testing so hopefully it will come back ok. Anyway, has anyone else come across this problem? Is it hardware or faulty screen issue? If you experienced the same thing how did you fix it?
