Tab 3 *" will not boot even after a new battery install.

Tab 3 8" will not turn on. Installed a new battery and still will not boot. If I push the start button it will begin to charge as indicated on my charger, but stops charging in a couple of second.
I have tried the hard reboot but no response. Looking for hints. I had down loaded a couple of new weather programs prior. This happen over night while on a charger?

It's a tab, so you had to open it to replace the battery. I'm guessing that you left off a connector, forgot to push a cable into its connector, broke a tiny wire or pinched a wire when you closed the case. any of thiose things could keep the tab from working.
