Tab3 Photo Screensaver

I have a Samsung Tab 3 (7") that I've hung on the fridge to be a grocery list, memo keeper, etc. Great little tablet for this.

I've seen it go into a "screensaver" mode using photos (not mine, not on the device) with the current date and time also showing.

I have no idea what it's running, how it's running this, where the settings are.
I have enabled Daydream, which, in theory, has only options to show "colors" or my own photos (again, I have no photos on the device).

I LIKE this photo function but don't like not knowing how to control it. Sometimes, the screen just goes dark.

What am I running? How do I ensure that this very nice screensaver always runs?

For the record, THIS is the device you have - https://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-3/ The Tab S3 did not have an 8" version.

It's possible some app that you've installed has done this through an alternate lockscreen. Is it possible it's only doing this while charging?
