Tablet goes nuts when connecting HDMI cable!

This is a real bummer as I wanted to use my tablet to display on a screen. Here's the video I made of the problem. All the details are in there. If you need any more info, I'll gladly provide it. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Alrighty:

If I plug my mini HDMI cable into my tablet, it goes crazy. If I put my finger in the middle of the screen, the touch ends up going up and down in a vertical line where ever I am touching it. It's Jellybean 4.1.1
