Tablet Nightstand Stand ???

I currently use an ihome for my iphone 5 with lighting cable adaptor. However, I also have a blackberry and nexus 7 using slim port charging.

This above stand looks decent but I'm looking for something that will play music and snooze after a but.

There are a ton of new ihome products out there using Bluetooth instead of apple connections. They make some decent tablet stands you could try.

Looks like a nice setup. Only potential issue I could see is if you want to put the tablet on/in the stand in landscape, the narrow side bezel may mean a bit of the screen will be in the grooves, and may make it hard to touch part of the bottom of the screen.

Thats a good point. I will have it in landscape but will only be using it as a stand to use an alarm clock and charging it. The Snooze spot on the screen is in the middle so hopefully it will be easily accessible.

i have a spare battery charger for my samsung galaxy s3 (Amazon.com: Samsung Battery Charger/Stand with Battery for Galaxy S3: Cell Phones & Accessories) - it has a stand built into it and it works perfectly for the nexus 7. you can't really see it in the pictures, but it has a metal lip along the opening that catches the edge of the tablet and locks it in place real good.

I told someone in a different thread who was asking for something like this. Your best bet is to get a tablet stand (I have the amazon basics stand and it is kind of big for the N7), a Qi charger plate, and a NFC tag. Make it a DIY nightstand dock. You will be able to place it on the stand where it will charge and you can set the NFC to turn it to run the alarm clock app of your choice and to close it when you pick it up.
