Tablet stuck in an inverted color scheme.

This is my android tablet. It was given to me by a friend about a month or two ago so i dont know much about itbut it is in perfect condition (except for a few finger prints onn the screen). One day i turned it on to listin to music and it was stuck in like a negitive setting with a white line across the screen. ive searched and searched and came up dry on answers. Ive even tried to change the setting for inverted colors in my browser and it didnt work. Help please i will post more info on the tablet itself if needed.
