Tagging contacts in Google Calendar

I use Google Calendar and Google contacts for my business. Occasionally a contact is not tagged in my calendar even though I selected their name while typing. It only shows their first name but doesn't say "tagged contact" like the others do. So all I'm looking at is a first-name with no idea of who the customer is or what their phone number is. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Solved! I found the solution myself. The newest Google Calendar update has an error. I uninstalled updates and is working properly now.
