Taking a screenshot on an s21 Ultra 8s a pain in the *** you have to press the side button and the down button the volume down button? That seems so stupid to me and also I find it difficult to do cropping because she can't crop from the side it seems like It's not as easy as it was on the LG v40. Am I missing something here? Is there another way to do these things? The quick pulldown was the best way to take a screenshot and cropping with a snap.

You're missing a lot. Lol. Have you tried palm swiping? I think it's on by default but if you place the side of your hand against the screen like you're going to karate chop it and slide it from one side to the other it'll take a screenshot. Editing I don't think it's too bad and can be accessed from the pop-up immediately after taking the screenshot.

How do you fix a title? I looked.

BTW, today the S21 worked with the charging plate and charged at fast charge, with the case in the 2021 Hyundai Sonata LE, so go figure.

By reading the instructions? It's documented in the user guide and in the online help via the device's Settings.

Awesome I just learned something. The palm gesture works on my S10+. I've been using the power button and volume down buttons. They work fine but the palm trick is so cool.

seriously, I have been using that method for years. It started with one of the early note phones.

My basic Motorola phone did a karate chop motion (but holding phone in hand and chopping with the phone) that turned the camera on. Its one of the few things I miss about that phone was the shortcut motions. (Twist the phone for torch etc)

I didn't know about the palm swipe for screenshot and now use it everytime. Makes the process so much easier so thanks!!

That would be an interesting way to get the camera open. *swings phone wildly in the air while assuring people "I'm only trying to take a picture."

The HTC U12+ had capacitive sides so you could squeeze it in different places or multi squeeze to do certain functions. Frankly my son was the only one who could get that to work. When I had the device I gave up and turned it off.

It actually worked pretty well. IIRC to get the camera open it was hold the phone and twist your wrist Kind of putting phone face up then face down quickly. Karate chop the phone. for torch. I get what you mean about getting these features to work. My father in law got the same phone as me and i told him about the karate chop motion for torch. I still laugh at the thought of him holding the phone in his left hand and chopping his right hand in the air and wondering why it never worked.....
