I've had the Note 5 for a day now and just love it. However is there a setting on the phone that helps avoid the redeye in photos or an edit option that removes it? I didn't see any. I'm sure there are apps for photo editing that do that but I was wondering if the phone had any built in.

I was about the ask the same question.

My lady friend has green eyes and the redeye problem is quite severe on photos taken with the Note 5.

I see it didn't recognize the dog as a portrait. When I picked another photo one of a baby it recognized it. The dogs are the ones with the red eye issues

I don't know why, but the Note 5 always turns my cat's eyes blue. The blue center part is
black in normal indoor light. With the Note 5 flash turned on , they become blue. Weird...

I'll probably just get a decent photo editor. Only thing I really need is the red eye remover option. Stock camera app has all the other edit features I like.

nothing you can do really given the cause is from the flash placement and that it's so close to the lens. post processing or an app of some sort
