Talk & data at same time ?

searched a bit but only found one short thread about it and no real answers.

Im sure its something i am doing wrong but i cant talk and surf at the same time. using my new note5 on VZW. is it a setting im not seeing ?

You have to go to settings>advanced calling>activate advanced calling

Verizon started supporting HD audio and video calling. In doing that, they only need one radio in the phone. So... When you are talking on voice, data doesn't work.

However, if you enable advanced calling, it makes it possible, because you voice calls will go over data, but not charge you on your data plan. Video calls will work as well, but that does count against your data plan.
