Tapatalk balks

I'm using tapatalk 4.9, and it usually works nicely on wifi. But most of the time it just hangs and says the forum isn't responding when I try to use it on cell phone data.

Right now it will let me on this forum but not two others.

Rarely, it balks even on Wi-Fi.

Any idea what's going on, or if there's a way to fix this?

Oh, typically, when this happens, I can access the same forums via chrome, and also with an older version of tapatalk on my Moto X 2013

The AC app, itself, does that sometimes as well. Will hang up loading a page or replies, or even opening a forum. I think its more a server comm issue than an app issue.

Except i am carrying two phones, and tapatalk on the other will be working fine. And I can open the same forum with chrome with no connectivity issues.

This is definitely a tapatalk thing. Although, the forum app may use the tapatalk api, And may refuse to load for the same reason.

And it's almost always when I try to load the forum. If one page loads, others generally will, too.
