TARDIS blue skin on Note 8

Since USA didn't get the deep ocean blue Note 8, I decided to get a blue skin, it took me months to choose which one.
At the end, a white skin, a blue carbon fiber looking skin and a blue metal brush looking skin were my favorites.
Lite blue metal brush aluminium is the one I got, and I'm happy with the result.
Now I have a proper TARDIS blue Note 8!View attachment 280229View attachment 280230View attachment 280231View attachment 280232View attachment 280233View attachment 280234View attachment 280235

Kool. How is the Installation process? If you make a mistake, then? Any idea if the surface becomes greasy if I decide to remove it later? Also, is it possible to put a "clear" cover on top of it without damaging the skin?

Thanks!

Install was fairly easy, I watched one video on YouTube and felt confident enough to do it.
Everything went well, took me one try, until the little front part at the bottom, that one doesn't have anything to use as reference, so it took me about 4 tries.
That bottom part wasn't greasy when I took it off to place it back, but I don't know how it would be after it's been there for a while. This is the first time ever that I use a skin on a phone.
What do you mean by a clear cover?
If you mean a case, I guess it would be fine, I use a thin case at home and a thick beetle unicorn case for work, and the skin is just fine.

Sweet. Can you share the website/ link? I wanna check out a couple of options and order :)

Do mall booths do that with colored skins? Love to try the brushed blue (I have a different phone but still). I don't have the manual dexterity nor the patience to do it myself.

I don't remember which one I watched, but DBrand has a YouTube video that shows the same technique I used.
I'm at work and can't post links at the moment, but look it up you'll see it.

ok very nice skin, but their UI for the site is terrible and clunky..I'm good with Dbrand or Slickwraps
I agree about their site, I ordered from Amazon and didn't check their website at all. But this skin looks and feels great, it's worth it.

Don't know, I always install my own screen protectors, so I also installed this, my first skin.
You can ask at your local mall.

Glad to hear that. And you're welcome:)

Finally received this matte wrap. Took two weeks, and no shipping confirmation.

Well it's a bit difficult to get it installed just right. A bit more difficult than I was hoping. Point - it comes with two skins in case you mess up the first install. Well guess what, you'll need the second one! Might as well just take the first one and throw it away. I'm using it with the Rhinosheild crashguard bumper case - and this skin needs 100% perfect precision install or the case will bugger it all up.

The skin comes with "naked juice" to facilitate the install. Plus you have to do it at night, then not touch the phone for 12 hours. Then, in the morning most of the bubbles should be gone. Also to need to push the edges in place after precisely 30 minutes from starting the install. In the a.m., try putting the case back on.

If you messed it up you can try again.

Or you can order the DBrand skin.

Well shucks...Lol. Sorry you had a harder time than I did applying it. Yeah I still have the first one on. I put the 2nd one on my fiance note8. When I did my screen protector from bestskinsever.com(another wet install) I did that one in bathroom with shower on so the steam helped a lot with bubbles and dust.
