So now that we have had the TB for a little while now, I was wondering what kind of task killers you guys have been using. Everyone has had there time to fool with each one. I have been using memory booster lite. What about you guys. I only have been looking at free ones. So what do you guys use and feel why its the best.

I do not use any task killers and feel no need to use any. I let the OS do what it needs to do.

I used Adavanced Task Killer when I was on 2.1 but using a task manager on anything 2.2 and above will drain the battery faster .

I don't use any aftermarket task killers. But I do use fota kill. It came with cm7, its a revamped version of androids internal task killer that does not waste battery like the ones on the market.

If you have froyo or newer YOU DONT NEED aftermarket task killers. They do more harm than good.

Use juice defender if you want to save extra battery life

Like everyone said, task killers are not needed. The OS inherently runs task beautifully.

I don't use a take killer, learned that it's a battery drainer because all tasks that you think it killed it auto starts the ones that are needed, therefore you will continuously be using it to kill tasks that the phone need to run which is what drains the battery. I hope I explained it correctly, if not AC family please add to this, ty :)

Yeah I am completely new to Android and smartphones altogether. One of the first things I found in the Marketplace was a task killer and thought that sounded like a great idea....so I downloaded it and used it for about three days. I realized VZNavigator, CityID, Slacker Radio, and a few other things were constantly running when I never used them....got upset about that, decided to root....now life is happy. :) A couple of nights ago I went a little over 26 hours since last unplugged and was still at 61% battery....with performance like that, I think Froyo is doing it's job.

•• Task Managers ••

Task Managers Are Completely Unnecessary. You do not need to Force Close applications on your Android phone. Android knows when to shut down programs if you haven't properly backed out of them. There is a built in Task Manager on Android 2 point plus. Menu = Settings = Applications = Running Services. Don't force close things like voicemail, phone apps, Messages app, etc. You will miss text messages, phone calls, etc. Android is an amazing OS and doesn't need any help from any "Task managers".

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, please don't use Task Killer, Advanced Task Killer, etc, etc, etc!!!
