TB Buyers in the last week or so, is there still light leakage??

I was hoping to get some feedback from anyone that has purchased a TB in the last week or so, with the assumption they have received a different batch than the original shipment from HTC.

Do you still have the issues that plagued the early units, most importantly the light leakage, audio issue during video recording?

I would hope that HTC was forced by VZW to fix these issues on newer batches to reduce the amount of returns....

I just got mines over the weekend, where is this light suppose to be leaking from?

in the space under the menu buttons. Take the phone into a dark room and you will see what looks like pinholes of light leaking through the black coating or around the bottom edges when the menu buttons are lit

This happens with pretty much EVERY candybar formed phone. Droid, Droid2, Droid X, Droid INC etc.

No light noted. You'd have to tilt the phone at an EXTREME angle to even see anything at all... and why in the hell would you hold your phone that way anyway?

I believe he is talking about the light on the bottom not when you are looking at the screen from the top. The backlit touch buttons leak from the bottoms on lot of the phones.

I received my phone Friday of last week. No light leak. Solid phone. Receiving it was like OD'ing on Viagra

I have a little bit of light leakage. It depends at what angle I hold the phone and it can only be seen when the light is completely off. It is like a pin hole.

I exchanged mine solely because of the light leakage and I'm happy to report that my new device is perfect.

When did you exchange it? Was it recently?

I just got my replacement today and my new phone doesn't have any leaky buttons, while my old one did. but I notice the hue of the screen is more yellow than my old one.

The old one was having significant 3G dropping issues. Tried everything, rep tried hard reset twice. I hope it's just the lighting I'm in, but the screen does seem a bit more yellow than my old one.

Mine has two tiny points of light leakage (I got it with the original batch) that is only noticeable in total darkness. I have not bothered returning it for an exchange because of it. Is there a functionality concern with this? The phone otherwise is perfect.
