Tech21 Evo Tactical Case

anyone use this? are they as awesome as advertised against dropping and damaging the phone?

how large is the case? does it add alot of bulk? i dropped my Note 3 and the screen went bad, so i got a new phone, the Note 5. i dont want to ruin the phone again if i drop it, but i want a slim case too. i currently use this one, and love how slim it is, so i dont want something much thicker than this one.

Had this case and was not a fan of it, the cut outs with the flaps on bottom are annoying, after trying about 10 different cases this one takes the cake, it protects perfect and is slim...

I am using the tech 21 mesh case and think it's phenominal so far. I had a commuter (ottorbox) on my note 3 and yes it was thick and added bulk but have been a long time ottorbox fan. The note 5 is so slim that I wanted to see if I could go to a slimmer case. What I will say about the tech 21 (evo mesh I think) is that the TPU as little grooves in the inside in the corners .. check their web site for the design .. I believe this does a better job at reducing shock transmitted to / through the phone than a solid corner does .. some of the other TPU cases don't have this. The other thing the evo mesh cases do is with the pattern engraved on the case inside, they prevent the water drop effect that those case sites are showing you (spigen etc). So overall I can say coming from Ottorbox, I really like the tech 21 designs and so far have dropped my note 5 a few times in it and zero damage. (no hits to the screen, which I leave unprotected).
