tegra 3 benchmark question

has anyone else noticed that the transformer prime is getting better benchmark results? the tablets seem pretty similar. and nexus should be faster since it runs stock android.. idk

I believe the Prime's Tegra 3 is faster... To the tune of about 300 MHz.

The main thing that is not similar is the price. It's over double the price.

Different device for different people. The Prime is obviously meant to be more of a "premium" device, with more storage and a larger screen. But it's not a nexus device, so by the time we are getting Key Lime Pie, the Prime will be getting upgraded to Jelly Bean.

That is true, get a different tablet if you want insane physical storage, a larger screen or a physical keyboard. Get the Nexus 7 if you want/use Google Services and love getting all the updates for the Android operating system first.

You should also keep in mind that devices rarely perform as they are benchmarked for a variety of reasons.
