Tell me how to check if this "new" phone is really used

I am writing about how to access a status page that used to be accessible by dialing ##786# or by selecting an activity via an launcher. These don't work on my phones, and apparently don't work on a lot of other phones . . . anymore.

If you know the answer, then you already know that it involves usage for the life of the phone, and is nothing that may be viewed using the standard menus.

Total # of calls, Total talk time, Refurbished (yes or no), etc.

I have been searching the web for hours, including this site. Please don't reply with the same need as I have. I have already established that many people have the same need.

How can we access this info now? I have a couple of HTC One M7s.

I am the poster of this. I created an account in the hopes that someone will take my question seriously enough to answer.

Look, eBay has people selling used phones and calling them new, and I know that the evidence is inside the phones. Doesn't anyone know or an .APK file that will run and show this info? com.android.hiddenmenu or com.android.RTN ??

How about an app that will let you peek into the phone's memory?
