Telnet plain text emails have blank bodies.

Hey everyone. Recently the company I work for is trying to break into the 21st century (thankfully). The stock email program works just fine with our Exchange 2003 server. However, our support group has a pager, and we receive email notifications when it is paged. On the Razr HD 4G LTE (4.1.2 JellyBean), I receive an email as well (from @archwireless.net, if it is relevant), however, the entire body is blank. So we tested a few things, I could read plain text sent from something such as exchange or yahoo, however, when our network admin tested an email through a yahoo telnet session, the body also came up blank. I'm the only one with a droid, the rest of our department is using blackberries. Anyone have any idea what could be the root of this issue?

Also, on third party email clients such as Touchdown, I can view these messages no problem. If possible, though, I'd like to use the stock program.
