TELUS: Anyone Else Get An Update Notification?

I just got a notification that there's a software update, it's 414.46MB. Could we be getting Kit Kat?

At that size it very well could be. Does it not tell you what the update is?

No, it never does, it just notifies you that there's an update.

I have only had Nexus device till the Moto X I have now and the Nexus always has a small description of what the update offers and the version. The Moto X also does the same thing wonder why Sammy would leave that out.

Nexus updates come directly from the phone's manufacturer, where non-Nexus devices the update goes to the carrier first for testing, etc.

That maybe true but Sammy still active developed TouchWiz not to convey the information to the end-user because it was part of Android when Google release the update to Sammy to develop TouchWiz for KitKat. Carriers don't modify the updates they just approve or deny after testing.
