Tempered Glass Screen Protector

I was about to chime in about the Cocofu glass screen protector I bought, until I looked at my Amazon order history and realized I somehow ordered the one for the LG V10 instead :-\

Needless to say it didn't fit well and had a pretty bad halo. I just ordered the Zizo one through Amazon, hopefully it comes in quick and I'll report in on the fit when it arrives.

Can you please post a picture of the case from the side? Curious how much bulk it adds to the phone. I liked the UAG case too but, like Otterbox, too bulky

I just got my Zizo case with the Zizo full screen tempered glass protector. The Zizo is by far the best tempered glass protector out there. It is very nice so far. Best coverage out there. It is at least the sixth or Seventh brand I have tried. It is the winner.

I just installed the Spigen 9h tempered glass. It went on flawlessly and adheres well!

They seem to apply well, but overlooked the fact that they're too small as well.

So currently, doesn't appear to be a single screen that properly covers, except for the film style. Going to use that for now until a better solution arrives.

The Incipio is listed as tempered glass but it seems more like a thin acrylic. It does cover well though

So while the Zizo actually fits and doesn't have the raised edges, it's still not great. I'm actively looking for yet another option... this sucks.

- It doesn't fully cover the sides (room for case) and the the top to bottom is slightly off.
- As others have mentioned, there's a rainbow/oily effect going on in the middle.
- Sweaty/oily fingers do not play well this as it's a smudge magnet.
- The feel is not as good as others, somewhat gritty and rough.
- The black border is unnecessary. Having the cutouts around the camera and LG logo make it harder to have a perfect alignment.

Think it's safe to say that a wet/film protector is the only solution; however, assuming most won't play well with cases (the Skinomi does not).

I am more than happy with the Spigen tempered glass. Goes on perfect. Great fingerprint and oil resistance. Can't even tell it's there. Been in three weeks and I have zero issues

The issue is that it leaves large part of very scratchable areas exposed.

I disagree on some points. Mine feels no different than any if the others I tried. And that is a lot. I could take a picture of a few of the brands.

I have no rainbow anywhere. It is perfect in that aspect. I actually use the cutout fit be LG logo to make sure i had as close to a perfect alignment as possible so i didn't mine black portion. I felt it helped me. I agree that the sides are just a tad short but for both cases I use i think this is necessary. Since one of the cases I use is the Zizo this is probably by design. I am not sure if they do any other way witch his screen shape and keep them case friendly. It is by fat he best of all I have tried in the tempered glass arena.

The roughness might wear/clean off. Not sure unless you got a poor one. It does smudge. I had one before this that smudged badly.

Here are a few more i tried in addition to Zizo. I didn't want people to think i was lying about trying a lot. There were least three others threw out when done. My initial plan was to do a video review on YouTube but I balked when i realized many of the cheapest models are identical with different packaging. Yes the Skinomi is my only wet version. I was going to use it if i do not like any of the tempered glass. So far the Zizo is a keeper for me. It works well with the Trident case also. Is it PERFECT? I suppose not but so far it's the best i personally have found.

Ya. That doesn't sound right. Mine doesn't feel like that at all. Makes me wonder about Zizo quality control. Especially with the faulty cases they let go out. They do smudge very easy but they are not the worst I tried in that area.

Just requested a return and ordered a new one. For $1 more you can get with a case.

Hopefully someone else will release a better one in time.

I got the same rainbow look on my screen protector that came with one of my zizo cases. It is annoying. I've had plenty of zizo cases and zizo screen protector on other phones and never had this problem like i do with this one on my v20. Plus i can fill the top and bottom edges of the screen protector if i rub it with my finger. Surprisingly none of my cases make it pop off yet.
