Terrible 3G on S3!!! (like 8kbps !!!)

coach, I'm not sure there's much you can do. You can complain to Sprint, and they'll apologize and promise to look into it, but unless there's an actual tower outage I don't think they'll do anything. All their resources seem to be going into the 4G rollout and network upgrades. At least a complaint will get something in their files, and maybe some day they'll upgrade the coverage out there.

As fast as Gainesville is growing, they're going to have to do that sooner or later.

No, that's wrong. I think you're confusing EVDO and WIMAX. EVDO is 3G data, and most definitely exists on the GS3.

Thanks for the fix. I wasn't confusing wimax and evdo. Everyone knows the difference, one is for iphones and one is for android.

I was actually referring to the network modes as they're displayed in settings. So that means Wicked Sensations network modes are listed a bit differently. I just assumed the network modes would show the same options. So now I get to be reminded (yet again) what happens when you assume..... Oops :-[
