Terrible audio in recorded video

The audio on recorded video is an utter failure in any noisy environment. There is also zero bass.

A friend and I took the same video, his on the iphone 4, and the difference is astonishing.

I'm not looking for pro quality but at least comparable to the competition, and high quality for a top-of-the-line phone.

Anyone else have the same problem?

I have the same issue on all of my recorded concert videos. Would love to know of a fix for this.
