Terrible battery drain, CM10 ?

Been trying CM 10.1.3 for the last few days on my HOX+.
The battery usage whey the phone is "idle" is shocking. While sitting idle the other night it went from 41% to flat overnight.

To me, that is really ridiculous.

Any suggestions on how to find what is constantly running in the background or does someone already have the answer ?

The obvious things like Wi-Fi etc were off so something is running that shouldn't be.

Further to my OP......

Last night before the phone, and me, went to sleep I had about 38% battery remaining.

After checking the 'stats' this morning I noticed that the graph was fairly 'flat' for an hour after putting it to sleep. Then, after that hour or so the graph went almost vertical to 'flat'.

It appears to use significantly more battery when it's put to sleep.

VERY strange.

Nobody any suggestions ?

Try out an app called GSAM battery stats or wakelock detector. Those should tell you what's using the battery. I used CM 10.1.3 and while the battery drained faster than the stock ROM it wasn't this bad
Using SlimBean 4.3 and the idle drain is much improved
