Terrible battery life on my G3

I think you are correct. I purchased it from Ebuyer in the UK and it was factory unlocked with nothing tying it to any carrier.

One day i will figure out how to root it and get all the LG bloatware off of it!

That's the thing. You don't need to do anything. There is no carrier bloat or carrier iq on international devices. Consider yourself fortunate.

Thought I should chime in here and say that I have a 3850mah battery and have got 144hours+ and 8hours SOT.
With 5hours remaining, that is only with disabling stock apps and with almost 400 apps installed.
There is more to saving battery than that and turning down the brightness.
You have to be rooted and control wakelocks and radio receivers.
Then and only then will you get the most out of the battery.

As for parxuk, 61hours standby and 2hours SOT just means you don't use the phone much at all.

I was proud of battery life today.. Usually I swap out battery's at around 1230 1245 didn't need to today guess I didn't use it as much.. Screen time. I do stream radio in the am from seven to eleven and then hear podcasts throughout the day. But in Amy case unwashed happy today.

This is just intolerable. I didn't make a hard reset when I jumped from 4.4 to 5. Do you reckon it can be from that ?

Defo lollipop . My brother in law went from a full day (kit kat) to 4 hrs (lollipop)
