Have you really been through two of them? Because I'm thinking of trying another but your wink emoticon gives me pause. I think a switch is doubtful to work and maybe I should just ditch this in favor of the Rezound. I see no indication that anything will be done except fix the bars.

Yep...though the reason I returned the first one was because of a speaker issue. I'm usually on wifi and use VoIP/Google Voice for calls and texting, and I much prefer pure ICS (and easily rootable) to Gingerbread Sense, so I'd still keep my Nexus regardless. I'm thinking/hoping that the issue gets fixed soon though

man im just driving throigh altoona pa....my gnex switched to 4g flawlessly and once i hit altoona proper i was getting -66dbm....held onto 4g till ebensburg and then switched flawlessly back to 3g.....

I lose data all day long and can't get connected sometimes. And I've never had this problem with a vzw phone

Same. Well I can usually connect again after toggling airplane mode or rebooting, but my data drops a lot.

I use mine on Airplane mode + wifi at home and when I go out I have to turn off both of those and reboot to (reliably) connect to data
