Yea, this totally screams fraud.
Hope everything goes well. Best of luck.
I paid for the item via PayPal (used my credit card instead of my checking account to fund) so I'm covered two ways there plus I'm eligible for eBay buyer protection. Don't get me wrong; I'm incredibly skeptical. However I'm fairly well protected if this deal goes sideways so I'm willing to take the chance.
Here's the link. Thunderbolt Verizon Cell Phone LTE 4G Android(Unlocked) - eBay (item 290556601368 end time Apr-22-11 22:27:27 PDT)
I will keep this thread updated as things develop.
I reported this listing to ebay. You will get an email from them when they yank it off the site.
I wouldn't doubt it too quick. I made a seller account just for the purpose of selling my OG Droid for Thunderbolt money. Ya never know if they just made the account to get rid of the phone.
While this is true, everyone had to start someone, no one is going to sell a clean, working, legal Thunderbolt for $200. If it was for $700 I wouldn't be suspicious.
Maybe one of the boxes was shipped to Australia from Taiwan by mistake and landed at this dude's address, LOL!!if it was even 500 I would think it was legit. 200 is under the 2 year contract price. and the seller has multipliable units as "new"...maybe the fell off the back of a truck... in Australia? lol
I buy stuff from eBay all the time without problems, but never from someone with no feedback. Good luck, hope it works out for you.
and they only got business from morons too
or people like OP too I guess.
Not calling op a moran!
