Swipe down twice and click the pencil icon to edit your notification tray. It might be in the disabled icons on page two. Tap and hold on the icon, then drag it where you want it.

Must be blocked by Sprint. I was hoping since it was stock I'd be able to use it.

I do have Sprint and I'm able to use the hotspot

I think you need to set up the Wi-Fi hotspot first. Then you will see the toggle on the notification menu

I looked through settings and didn't see anything. Docyou know where it's located?

Does it still work? Because I used to be able to toggle it with an app and now I cant. I bought mine at best buy

Did you get the phone from Sprint or Essential?

I recall having it on my Sprint phone, but I can't verify that now since I've left Sprint. I was on the "Free Unlimited" plan, which is largely just a typical Sprint Unlimited plan (and would have defaulted to that after July). It is advertised as coming with 10GB of high speed mobile hotspot each month, so it wouldn't have made sense for Sprint to restrict the phone.
