tethering question

i havent even tried yet but i want to tether my wifi ipad to my optimus v and use the 3g data. is this possible? and would i get in trouble with VM?
i did it with my iphone and t mobile and ipad and it never became an issue with my carrier

Summary: yes it's possible and yes it's against Virgin's TOS.

O well i used tethering for like a few hours today. Now my 3G doesn't work. Maybe it's an outage or they are pissed at me?
What would they do if I continue?
