Has any one tried tethering stock 2.1, i tried the basic tethering mode that comes with stock 2.1, and i've tried pdaNet, the latter of the two i'm actually disappointed in because i paid for the application.
When i use the stock android "share phone internet" i get a pcs account error.
-my guess is that they want me to pay $30 a month for the service now.
When i try to use pdaNet, it doesn't connect.
- it worked perfectly before
I might actually pull a stock 1.5 out just to be able to be able to tether again until the evo comes out, then deal with this problem all over again.....

PDA net now works after creating a dummy ethernet connection on my mac. fairly fast i would say, however it seems it caps out and kicks me off quite often. after about 200k or so. Something to think about.
