Tethering. The end all...

I'm already seeing posts, but confusing as usual. I have just a few questions as I'm getting this phone in 3 days and want to be ready to pimp it out. So here it goes:

1. what is the best wireless tether app to use, and I will be rooted for this...

2. I actually prefer the mobile hotspot app because it uses infrastructure instead of adhoc...is this an option (free of course, rather not pay for this).

3. Is a hack needed on either option to conceal that I am in fact tethering?

4. As long as I am in a 4G area, I can talk and use data at the same time correct? Does this also hold true when tethering?

I think that's all for now. Please try to keep responses concise for others. Everything gets so muddled in the tons of responses. I feel this should handle everything needed when it comes to tethering (for free).

you should ask these questions in one of the other tethering threads. there are a couple. better to keep all info in fewer places so others can reference

No matter how do it or mask it vzw can and will see u tethering there fore like art you'll be seeing a nasty gram from vzw. I really wish folks would give a answer why they need to circumvent the rules. Vzw 4g isn't made to use on Xbox home network etc
