I am used to my iphone doing this, and I could see how this will eventually bite me in the ****. When. A new text message is received, and I click on the messages app, it doesn't open the new text, it opens the last text I was in. Is there a way to change that?

A quick solution is to click the notification. I think with some apps you can get separated notifications too.

Hate when that happens and you send something to the wrong person

Yeah, like the time I sent a text to my brother (on my iPhone) telling him how I wanted to snuggle under a blanket with him.

I thought you really wanted to do that :( Dad never wants to do that anymore with me so I thought you wanted to pick up the slack

This is a problem that has existed with the Android native messaging app forever.

It's just something that you have to be aware of. Best practice is to back out of any text conversations instead of just hitting the home button.
