Text Issue

Please help! I'm in a group text that a friend started, and I want to get out of it. I have know idea how to leave the conversation as to my phone not giving me that option. Could someone explain to me how to do it?

Delete that message, select whatever contact you want to text and text them... As far as the rest of the people in that group message, you will still recieve messages from them
