Text lagging

I have been having some serious lagging issues while texting. If I close the previous open apps it's fine. Annoying.....Is there a fix for this? Other than the fast charge not working and this text lag this phone has been great.

What text app are you using?
I'm using Google Messenger and Wickr and not experiencing any lag issues.

He means a texting app you might have downloaded from the Google Play Store such as Textra which I would strongly recommend over what came with the phone. Give it a try and report back...

On the Adaptive Fast Charge, make certain both ends of the USB are inserted all the way into their ports.

Textra downloaded.....We shall see. As far as the Fast Charge goes, I've plugged and unplugged many many times. Fast charging worked fine when I first got the phone, as time when on only sometimes and now it never works. I've tried swapping out the cord itself as well.

Can't imagine why your fast charge is not working.

Is your phone on power save mode?

I just use the Messages+ app and it works great. No lag whatsoever. I used to use Handcent all the time, but didn't feel the need to change from stock. As for fast charging make sure you are using the adapter that came with the phone. Other adapters won't fast charge unless specifically engineered to do so.
