Text message delays....

I have been using the Essential phone for a couple days now and am noticing a lag when sending text messages... Anywhere between 5 seconds and a few minutes.... This doesn't happen on every text sent. Just a few here and there.


Edit- Started happening with my other phone since i posted this(go figure) so not isolated to the Essential phone... Mod can delete thread......

I've had this happen, but also happened on my previous phone. Particularly happens with MMS for me. I just figured it is more of a carrier thing.

I think you are right.... All of a sudden happened with my other phone(it didn't when I originally posted this).....

On Sprint, the essential phone is having text messaging issues. All that people have to do is turn off enhanced LTE services and that fixes it for the most part.

They really need to fix this at Sprint though.

I think it's been an issue with Sprint lately. I've had the same issues the last several days on my Note 4.

I just learned that Sprint switched to a new Messaging system about two weeks ago.
